Catherine is a qualified teacher with over 30 years of experience in music education and administration. Catherine’s holistic approach to teaching is positive and encouraging and she is able to adapt to individual interests and learning styles and thus make learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Sarah is a highly accomplished pianist, accompanist, dancer and teacher. In addition to her career as a secondary school teacher Sarah works as a pianist for ballet classes and exams, an instrumental and vocal accompanist and a piano teacher. Sarah also freelances as a character dance teacher and choreographer and is a regular performer with the Lehenda UkrainianDance Company andRegional Chamber Ballet where the piano trio she performs with accompanies regionally based ballet dancers across regional Victoria. Adrian is an accomplished operatic tenor whose list of credits include recognition from the Order of Australia Association for his contribution to music. Adrian received his Bachelor of Music Performance from the Victorian College of the Arts before travelling to Vancouver, Canada where he attained his Masters of Music (Opera) from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He is an active performer and director and is in high demand as a classical voice teacher and adjudicator. Read more
Richard "Chuck" Probert
Richard “Chuck” Probert (Dip.Mus, (Jazz Performance), B. Mus., A.Mus.A. (Trumpet)) was among the first jazz students to graduate from the Victorian College of Arts. Richard’s performance background includes: Cruise ships Princess, Celebrity & Cunnard (QEII); Wish the Magic Tour with 32 piece orchestra (UK);Texas Chainsaw Orchestra (London UK); Lead trumpet /jazz soloist, Out For The Count Big Band, Dizzy's Big Band; DR Big Band and the Tramways Big Band (Melbourne). Richard has recorded with composer/producer Sebastian Lorefice and indie recording artist Radio Caroline South. He is a regular performer at the Port Fairy, Inverloch, Grampians and Merimbula Jazz Festivals.
