Sarah Cossey

B.A., B.Mus., A.Mus.A.(Piano), Dip.Ed, MBus (Arts and Cultural Management)

Sarah commenced her piano studies at the age of 5, learning piano from her mother, Catherine Cossey, until the age of 11 when she began lessons with Laurice Boak. Under Laurice's guidance Sarah was awarded her Associate in Music (AMusA) and was accepted into Melbourne University, Conservatoire of Music, to pursue her career in piano studies under the guidance of Igor Machlak. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Melbourne in Piano performance concurrently with a Bachelor of Arts, and a Diploma of Education from Monash University. Following her passion for Arts Management and Production, Sarah was awarded her Masters in Business (Arts and Cultural Management) in 2023 and has since production managed a number of professional and community theatre and music productions, including events for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Sarah has studied classical ballet to an advanced level and continues to explore her passion for dance, freelancing as a character dance teacher and choreographer.

Sarah is currently the Head of Performing Arts and VCE Music teacher at a Bayside school.
